Sid Brannon
| New to painting, Sid has enjoyed a love for watercolors for many years. The delicate colors have always been a favorite, but now, as the artist, he can put vibrancy in the colors to give a touch of life. | ![]() |
| Working with his instructor and mentor, the very talented Chuck
Long has allowed Sid to lean on his many years of varied experiences. Drawing inspiration
from fellow artists; namely Ed Starnes, Dorothy Montgomery, Teresia Reid and Marcia
Leonard has given him the nerve to branch out and experiment with new techniques. Traveling with his wife Bonnie to see some of the great museums of Europe as well as the majesty of our own country, has opened new vistas and divined a need to paint many various subjects. My perception of subject matter has changed greatly and I have begun to feel the fabric of a composition. Perhaps this will allow me to transfer what I feel to what one sees. I paint and paint, but there never seems to be enough time to paint! Sid has plans for workshops and other studies which will further enhance his painting and allow him greater satisfaction. |
